Christmas Photo Booth

Hey everyone...
So this may be a bit last minute but it's super easy and fun to do. I think it's something great to do with your family on Christmas Day. Here's how to make it:

You will need:
Scissors
Sellotape
Red straws
A festive cup (to hold them in after)
Printed out Christmas pictures

1. Get your printed out pictures and stick them onto some red card to make them stronger. This will also look better than just the normal white back as that isn't very festive.

2. Cut them out

3. Place the picture face down and put a straw into it. The straw will be the stick part that you hold.

4. Neaten the edges with scissors if you have any sellotape around the picture.

5. Place them all in the cup and you're ready to take lots of fun pictures!

I hope you have lots of fun with these if you decide to make them. If you make them please take a picture and tag me in it on Instagram, my name is:

Christmas Eve 2015

Hey everybody...
Seeing as it is Christmas tomorrow I thought I would do a post about what I do on Christmas Eve with my family. I hope you like this post.

Firstly, my Dad will make sausage rolls which are amazing.

Then we all play games together, and eat those Christmas snacks. This is something I love to do at Christmas because it really brings the family together, and to me thats what Christmas is all about.

As the evening comes we put a Christmas film on, these two are probably my favourites along with 'love actually'

Lastly, we open the quality street which personally is one of my favourite things to do as these are my favourite chocolates/sweets.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Have an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year!

The Clothes Show ~ New Trends

Hello,
The other day I went to the clothes show and it was amazing! In case you don't already know the clothes show is where you can buy lots of beauty and fashion products for a much cheaper price than usual. There is usually some famous people there that you can meet - this year there was Joey Essex, Sprinke of Glitter and others. I didn't get chance to meet any famous people but I saw Joey Essex from a distance. Then there is an optional catwalk/fashion show which was actually my favourite part of the day. In today's post I will tell you about the new trends and the catwalk/fashion show part and in another post I will tell you what I bought.

First of all, the main trends this season are going to be:
Sequins
Dark/reds
Romance
And there was another that I can't remember.
Oasis are going to be selling reds.
Debenhams will be selling blacks/romance.
New look will be selling the sequins.

Then there was the actual catwalk. The outfits from this were amazing. The detail on some is incredible.
There isn't really much to say about the catwalk so instead I am just going to upload the pictures:

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed having a fashion related post. Please let me know what Christmas posts you would like. Bye!

Pastel Thinking Winter Tag

Hey guys...
Right now I'm snuggling up under a cosy blanket, and listening to Christmas songs. It has come to my attention that I have not posted on here for a while, this is because school is getting really tough now and I'm constantly practicing dances for Christmas shows, and exams. I recently got my first pointe shoes and I'm so happy!!
I thought that for this Winter//Chrsitmas I would do my own 'Cosy Winter Tag'. In this is I will:
Write a section about:
Favorite winter and Christmas drink
Favorite winter and Christmas makeup product
Favorite winter and Christmas pj's
Favorite winter and Christmas food
Favorite thing to do in winter and Christmas
What I like the most about winter and Christmas

Let's get started!!

Favorite winter and Christmas drink
My favorite has to be either the Starbucks hot chocolate or any hot chocolate, with whipped cream and a candy cane over the edge of the mug.

Favorite winter and Christmas makeup product
MUA eyeshadow trio in 'Innocence'
This has three different shades of silver and if you put them all together it looks gorgeous.

Favorite winter and Christmas PJ's
Mine are a patterned trousers (blue and pink) with a blue long sleeved top form Primark I think.

Favorite winter and Christmas food
It has to be all the mini snacks you get like twiglets, quality street, celebrations, etc.

Favorite thing to do in winter and Christmas
Be with my family or to just sit in my room and watching a Christmas film with a hot chocolate and a big blanket.

What I like the most about winter and Christmas
It is an excuse to get all cuddled up at home and watch films. At Christmas I love how all the family get together and spend quality time with each other, whilst eating quality street! Christmas to me is all about family and love.

I hope you enjoyed this. Remember to have fun, and get watching Christmas films!!

Autumn Look Book ~ Cardigans

Hello...
As you know it's Autumn and this is my favourite time of the year (along with winter). It's such a cosy season; leaves fall of the trees, Starbucks do the Pumpkin spice lattes and everyone gets excited for Christmas (well I do). I want to share with you guys my favourite Autumn piece of clothing this year and how to style it.

The piece of clothing I can't get enough of this year is a big, cosy cardigan from Primark. It was £16 and totally worth it. Here is how I style it.

This is the cardigan. In this picture I have paired it with a top from new look, some jeans from topshop and my adidas superstars. It is a very practical outfit and also very basic. You can change this outfit so many ways from this. For example:
Now you know it goes with a white top and jeans you could try different kind of trousers etc.

These are the shoes I wore with my outfit:

Another person who is loving this kind of cardigan is Ellie Goulding!
(I found this picture on her Instagram)

I hope you liked this post. I think I might start doing more fashion posts and possibly do like an Autumn and winter series of posts all on fashion/beauty etc.

Halloween Cat Makeup

Hello...
It's that time of the year when Halloween comes around and everyone gets dressed up, goes partying, and go trick or treating. I don't usually celebrate Halloween as its against my religion, however I was invited to a party with my friends so I'm going there but I'm not trick or treating. As I love makeup I'm taking this as a great opportunity to practice.

There are lots of different things you can go as to a Halloween party, my favourite has always been a cat.

The first thing I'm doing is applying bronzer to my cheek bones, smile lines, and around my nose. You want to make the nose look bigger.
Then I am going to apply white eyeshadow to below my nose and my cheeks.

Next I move onto my eyes and I am using a pale/shimmery brown, a darker one and an orange eyeshadow. These are all from the sleek eyes and cheek palette.
Use the palest as a base, then use the others on the crease.

For the classic cat eye look, I use a thin eyeliner to make a line that goes halfway down my top eyelid and then has a big flick at the end. I then go in with a thicker eyeliner to make it bolder. If you want to you can add glitter to this bit. Then apply a lot of mascara-fake eyelashes would work great.

Obviously then with the thin eyeliner you need to draw three lines either side of your nose. Then I colour the tip of my nose in with my eyeliner (thin or thick) and put two lots of three dots under my nose. Lastly I put black eyeliner on my top lip (as a lip liner) and did the rest of my lips a dark red.

For my nails I did a black base and put glitter on top. My outfit was:
Black skater skirt ~ forever 21 ~ £4
Black tight crop top ~ new look
Black heels
Leather jacket ~ primark

I hope you liked this post. Please leave comments on what you think or if you have any questions.

Autumn Nail Favourites

Hey guys...
So today's post is my favourite nail polishes I use in Autumn. Some are much more expensive than others. I hope you enjoy this post.

My first set are all grey/sliver nail polishes. To me grey is a really warm/cosy colour, so these are definitely some of my favourites. From left to right:
Seventeen nail colour ~ moonstruck
Nails inc ~ Sheraton street
Beauty uk ~ (don't know the colour)
The last one I don't know about the colour or where it's from as it came in a set of a friend.

The second set of nail polishes are burgundy/purple/blue and I think they really show Autumn. From left to right:
Seventeen Quicker Slicker colour ~ Navy Glint
Seventeen Nail Colour ~ Ruby Gem
17 nail polish ~ (don't know colour)
Nails Inc ~ lowndes square

I hope you liked this post, sorry about the ones that I didn't know the colour for its mainly because they came in a set from friends. Please let me know what you think of this post and what other posts you would like to see.

Makeup Reviews

Hey guys...
So I'm so so sorry I haven't posted for a while. Anyway I have this post for you now and another very soon. This post is a makeup review. I recently bought these products so they are all new except the sleek palette and the brushes.

This is the 'Bronze & Sculpt Contour kit' it's from the 'MUA LUXE' range. It was around £5. The first layer of it is a pale brown shimmery powder and the second layer is like a matte brown which is very dark/tanned colour. I use this on my cheek bones mainly.

This is the sleek cheek and eyes palette. I don't know how much it was as a friend got it for me. I recently remembered I had this and have now fallen in love with it. I mainly use the blusher.

This is an MUA nail polish in white. It was only £1 and is really nice! You have to use two coats though otherwise you can't tell its on properly. I would definitely recommend their nail polishes.

These are some of the real techniques brushes. It's the buffing brush and the contour brush. I know they're not clean, I'm cleaning them soon. I got these in a set of 4/5 and I don't know how much they were as they were for my birthday.

Thank you for reading.

Back to school Q&A // #btswithpastelblue

Hey guys...
Sorry I haven't been able to do this post sooner, oven been on holiday for five weeks so I didn't have all my school stuff with me so it was harder to answer your questions. I hope you enjoy this post. I asked you all for questions on my Instagram @pastelthinking___

I'm really scared for being in a completely different class next year. Do you have any advice?
I'm also in a different class next year, my advice would be to forget about the fact that your with different people maybe it's a teacher you already know. For me I'm with different people but I know the teacher and he knows me so that makes it a bit better. If you literally don't know anyone, it's ok. You're there to learn at the end of the day, I know it sounds horrible but you're not there to hang out with friends during class, you're all there for the same reason. Also chances are there will be other people who are in the class that don't know people so maybe talk to them.

What are your bts must haves?
I would probably just say pens and pencil (usual pencil case stuff), spare pens, lip balm, hair bobbles, hair grips.

What are things you always need to have with you?
Basically everything I said in the last one. Also make sure you have some money and you're phone. Money so that if you forget to bring lunch or a drink you can buy one. Phone in case you need to contact your parents.

What GCSE's are you doing/want to do?
I'm doing double award science but higher maths. BTEC dance, GCSE PE, hospitality.

What bag do you have?

This bag was £29 from Accessorize

What are your pencil case must haves?

Any tips to keep focused whilst studying?
Yes, I know everyone says thus and all, but make sure all electronics are either turned off or with your parents or in a different room. Also log off everything if you're not going to actually turn them off because if you hear an alert you're going to want to know if someone has just left liked your picture or something. For some people having classical music on helps, this one isn't for me. My last one is to make all of your notes very colorful. When I take my notes I imagine I'm taking notes for someone that's not there so you will then make it as good as you can.

What's in your bag?
I've basically already covered what's in my bag, pencil case, emergency things, books, etc. I might do a post on this soon.

What are your school essentials?
Again I have already answered this in the question 'what are your bts must haves'

What are your tips for whatever year you just finished?
I'm not going to say what year I finished so I will give general tips. When your in years close to GCSE's (secondary school/high school) don't think oh I haven't actually started yet well acually i like u of this matters. IT DOES!! If you do badly in say year 9, it will definitely not help you in year 10+11. Do your homework, teachers don't set it to annoy you, they set it to help you. Take notes! Some of my teachers were like don't write this down but most of the time I would be like but it will help me so bring a note book and take notes in there. I try to write down as much as possible and then HIGHLIGHT because I enjoy reading through my work much more when it's colourful.

This is my notebook ~ paper chase £1 (sale)

These are my pencil cases. The top one is from super drug ~ £2.99 and the bottom from jack wills ~ £10 I think (I probably bought it in the sale)

This is the book I'm about to start reading. Will Grason Will Grayson ~ WHSmith.

That's all of the questions you guys asked. Please tell me what other posts you would like me to do. Sorry this was so late I've been on holiday for ages and only very recently got back. I hope you enjoyed this post and that it helped you all. Bye.
